Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy

EFP with Sentient doesn’t involve any riding; all the work that we do with horses is on the ground.

Typical sessions will involve meeting the horse (or horses – sometimes we will work with one horse and, at other times, we will work with the herd), and then engaging with exercises. Some of these exercises will be structured and some will be more reflective, depending on what you bring to the session.

No two people and no two sessions are the same!

EFP for non-horse owners – you don’t need to have your own horse to participate in EFP sessions. Sessions take place in Backwell (near Bristol Airport).

EFP for horse owners – do you have your own horse and would like to explore EFP using your own horses? Charlotte can come to you at your home.

If you think that EFP could be helpful for you, the first step is to get in contact and talk through your thoughts.
